Alu Flex

The MUBEA ALU-FLEX is a 4-axis high speed machining centre equipped with a high speed spindle motor, which can mill, drill, tap and saw tubes, profiles and extrusions in aluminium, vinyl and composites.
The component is clamped on the machine bed and remains stationary whilst the gantry moves over the component.
We offer a selection of 12 or 16 clamps depending on the length of machine. The gantry automatically positions each clamp.
The machine can work on the bottom plane of the profile via angular tools.
The machine has a rotary automatic tool changer for 12 tools. The tool storage unit travels with the gantry and retracts behind a cover during machining.

The machine is equipped with a water-cooled motor. The motor produces 10 kW (S1), 12 kW (S6) and takes HSK-F63 tool holders. The motor can tilt -90° ? +90°. The standard speed of the spindle is 22 000 rpm. We can also offer a spindle feed of 25 000 rpm with optional Cronidur bearings.

Our 3D software “Profile 3D” allows easy programming in each plane (including both ends) all of the machining requirements such as drill, mill, flow-drill, tap and saw.

Machines can be executed in single head or in twin head version.
