Whitney dominates the market for plasma-punch combination machines that have proven time and time again to be the most cost-effective way to produce fabricated steel parts.

The Whitney Punch-Plasma machines will produce more parts per day from steel and aluminium plate than any other process including standalone laser, plasma and waterjet machines. Furthermore these parts will costs less than those made from the other technologies.

• Punched holes provide accurate internal features
• It is faster to punch holes than to pierce and contour holes with plasma or laser.
• External features are plasma cut. Advanced plasma-cutting technology provides highly productive contouring (much faster than laser) with high quality.
• Additional features such as forming (countersink, tread plate, louvers,) drilling and tapping can be added to eliminate additional downstream operations allowing parts to be completed in a single operation.
